Sustainability Efforts at Our Institution

At our institution, various practices are implemented within the scope of our sustainability efforts, aimed at reducing our environmental footprint and providing social benefit.

Waste Management and Recycling: Hazardous and infectious waste is segregated and disposed of in accordance with legislation, while recyclable paper, plastic, glass, and metal wastes are collected separately.

Energy and Water Conservation: Energy-efficient LED lighting is used throughout the clinic, and motion-sensor (radar) lighting is preferred in low-traffic areas such as storage rooms and restrooms. Water consumption is reduced through sensor-activated faucets, low-flow fixtures, and water-saving sterilization devices.

Use of Green Materials: Eco-friendly materials, such as biodegradable cups, straws, and gloves, are used instead of plastic, and environmentally friendly chemicals are preferred for disinfection processes. Additionally, paper consumption is reduced through digital appointment and patient record systems.

Reducing Carbon Footprint: Care is taken to ensure that materials used in the clinic are sourced from local producers whenever possible.

Employee and Patient Awareness: Regular training on eco-friendly practices is provided to employees. Informative brochures for patients and environmental awareness announcements are displayed on digital screens in waiting areas.
