Muhammed Kagan Bas

Endodontist

Muhammed Kagan Bas completed his dental education at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry. He subsequently completed his specialist training in Endodontics at the Department of Endodontics, Institute of Health Sciences, Marmara University, submitting his specialty thesis in 2021.

His specialty research investigated temperature changes on the root surface during the removal of root canal filling materials. This research was subsequently published in the international peer-reviewed Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part H: Journal of Engineering in Medicine.

His academic work has focused on areas including root canal treatment and retreatment, root canal filling materials and systems, temperature changes associated with endodontic procedures, and awareness of antibiotic and analgesic use in dentistry.

At Esnan Dental Clinics, Muhammed Kagan Bas practices as an Endodontist, with a clinical focus on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the dental pulp and root canal system, root canal treatment, and the retreatment of previously root canal-treated teeth.
