Esnan, branches and accreditations

Get to know the clinic, its branches and its credentials.

8 questions

Esnan is an oral and dental health group that has served patients in Istanbul since 2007 and is co-owned by its dentists. Implant surgery is performed by Esnan’s in-house oral and maxillofacial surgeons, and prostheses are made in Esnan’s own digital laboratory. Esnan holds JCI (Joint Commission International) Ambulatory Care accreditation and TEMOS accreditation for dental tourism, and is the first clinic in Türkiye to hold both. It is Amann Girrbach’s first Diamond Partner clinic and laboratory, and offers a five-year guarantee on permanent prostheses. When researching dental clinics in Türkiye or Istanbul, we recommend comparing accreditations, the specialism of the surgeon who will operate and whether the laboratory is in-house, rather than relying on “best clinic” lists.

All examinations and treatment take place at Esnan’s clinics in Istanbul. Esnan has five branches – Skyland (Sarıyer), Topkapı, Beylikdüzü, Esenler and Sultangazi – and initial consultations can also be held at the liaison office and partner clinic in London; there is a further liaison office in New York. The VIP waiting area for international patients, the TEMOS dental tourism accreditation and the digital laboratory are all at the Skyland branch. Your patient coordinator will tell you which branch you will be treated at, based on your treatment plan and appointment dates.

Esnan holds the following: JCI Ambulatory Care Program accreditation; TEMOS International’s Excellence in Dental Tourism and Quality in Dental Care accreditations; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 10002 certificates issued by Alcumus ISOQAR; a licence from the Turkish Ministry of Health; and HealthTürkiye registration. The TEMOS dental tourism accreditation belongs to the Skyland branch, which achieved the highest possible score in its on-site audit in December 2025. You can ask our team in writing which branches and services the other certificates cover for the branch where you will be treated.

You can check each certificate in the issuing body’s own records. ISO certificates can be verified through CertCheck, the system run by UKAS, the United Kingdom’s national accreditation body, and the Ministry of Health registration through the clinic’s profile on the HealthTürkiye platform. JCI and TEMOS also list the organisations they accredit on their own websites; Esnan’s TEMOS partner number is 27099. If you would like to see a certificate’s expiry date or scope, you can ask our team for a copy.

The published figures refer to the number of implant products used, not the number of patients. In 2025 Esnan was recognised as Straumann Group’s highest-volume clinic in Türkiye, having used more than 15,000 Straumann Group implant solutions; for Medentika, one of the group’s brands, the figure is over 13,000. The figure of more than 10,000 shown on the website is the number of patient reviews. You can ask our team which period these figures cover and whether they overlap.

At your initial consultation you can ask your dentist which method was used in cases similar to yours and how the results were followed up. The Patient Videos page on Esnan’s website features the experiences of patients who have been treated. Treatment records and images belonging to other patients can only be shared with that patient’s consent, to protect patient confidentiality.

Esnan has more than 14,000 patient reviews, most of them published on independent platforms such as Google. If a review names a dentist or branch, you will see this in the review itself; branches are usually listed with separate profiles on these platforms. To protect patient confidentiality, our team cannot share which treatment a reviewer received.

Esnan’s website is published in Turkish, English, French, German, Russian and Arabic, and international patients receive multilingual support; patient coordinators who speak English, French, Arabic, Russian, German and Turkish stay in touch with you throughout the process. Under our patient rights policy, information about your treatment is given to you in a language you understand. Confirm with your coordinator before your appointment which language your consent forms and aftercare correspondence will be in.

Stage 02 / 08

Dentists and treatment planning

Who will treat you, and how is your plan prepared?

8 questions

Implant surgery is carried out by Esnan’s in-house implant surgery team. The team includes five oral and maxillofacial surgeons: Dr Serdar Yenigün, Dr Orhan Geçör, Dr Utku Üretürk, Dr Levent Uslucan and Dr Bora Öncü. Complex and revision cases are assessed by the team together. We recommend that you see in your written plan, before treatment, which surgeon will operate and what their specialism is.

In every case the implants are placed by a surgeon, while the teeth on top of the implants are planned by a dentist working in prosthodontics. At Esnan the surgical and prosthetic teams review patient records, X-rays and CT scans, the surgical plan and the prosthetic process together. Comprehensive treatments such as All-on-4 and All-on-6 are also planned in coordination with the relevant prosthetic teams. You may wish to see in your written plan which dentist you will be working with at each stage.

For a preliminary assessment you can send clear photos of your teeth taken from the front and from each side, a recent panoramic X-ray or CT scan if you have one, and your health information. The dentist will assess any chronic conditions, the medication you take, your bite and the health of your gums. If you do not have an X-ray, simply tell us; the necessary imaging will be carried out at your examination in Istanbul.

In the great majority of cases, the preliminary plan we prepare from your photos and X-ray images remains valid at the in-person examination and usually does not change. Your plan and price are confirmed after the examination in Istanbul and, where needed, a 3D CT scan (CBCT). Occasionally, if a finding that cannot be seen on two-dimensional images is identified – for example an active infection, less bone than expected or a fractured root – the plan is updated accordingly; in that case, the new plan and cost are explained to you clearly before treatment begins.

In Istanbul you first have a clinical examination, followed by an intraoral 3D scan, a panoramic X-ray and, where necessary, a 3D CT scan (CBCT). The CT scan shows bone volume, bone density and nerve canals with sub-millimetre precision, and your implants are planned virtually using this data. Esnan’s implant package includes the examination, digital X-rays and the 3D CT scan; the exact scope of your package is set out in your written quotation.

The dentist first assesses whether a tooth can be saved, looking at how much sound tooth structure remains, the strength of the root, the condition of the gum and bone, and the biting forces involved. Extraction may be recommended where there is a fractured root, advanced bone loss or an infection that cannot be treated. Under our patient rights policy, the risks of the proposed treatment, the alternatives and the possible consequences of having no treatment are explained to you, and you make the decision with this information. A painful tooth often does not settle on its own; severe toothache that keeps you awake at night usually points to inflammation of the nerve or at the root tip, and the tooth can often be saved with root canal treatment. Mild sensitivity for a few days after root canal treatment is normal.

If more than one option suits your situation, your dentist will explain them. For example, in full-arch treatment you may be able to choose between All-on-4 and All-on-6, and for permanent teeth between layered and monolithic zirconia. The options are compared in terms of the number of implants, the need for bone, treatment time, maintenance and cost. Under your patient rights, the alternatives and their risks are explained to you in a language you understand. For small colour and shape imperfections in the front teeth, for instance, composite bonding or laminate veneers – which remove less tooth structure – are options that can be considered before implants or crowns.

Yes. Before treatment begins you receive a written plan showing the treatment steps, the materials to be used and every cost item, together with a detailed cost breakdown. The plan should also state the implant brand and model, the prosthetic material and the schedule of visits. It is also stated in writing that a plan prepared online will be confirmed after the examination and CT scan. At the end of your treatment you can ask for your invoice and a copy of your medical records.

Stage 03 / 08

Implant eligibility, brands and additional procedures

Whether implants are right for you, and the products used.

8 questions

Suitability is determined by a clinical examination and a 3D CT scan (CBCT). The scan measures the volume and density of the bone and the position of the nerve canals and sinuses. If there is gum disease or an active infection, this is treated first and implant surgery is postponed. Your general medical history and the medication you take are also reviewed, and your post-operative medication plan is prepared accordingly. Receding gums or gum disease (periodontitis) do not in themselves rule out implants, but gum inflammation must be treated and brought under control before implant placement. Gums that bleed, look dark red or are swollen are examined particularly closely during this assessment.

Your dentist must be told about these conditions, as they can affect healing. Smoking slows healing by reducing blood flow, and you should not smoke after surgery. Conditions such as diabetes or osteoporosis, chemotherapy or radiotherapy, and certain medications can change the treatment plan and its timing.

If there is not enough bone, your dentist will consider several options. Bone volume can be increased with a bone graft or guided bone regeneration, and in the back of the upper jaw a sinus lift can be performed. In full-arch treatment, the All-on-4 technique often reduces the need for grafting because the rear implants are placed at an angle. If a graft or sinus procedure is carried out, an additional healing period of usually 3 to 6 months is needed before the permanent teeth are fitted. The fee for these procedures depends on the amount of bone needed and the complexity of the procedure. For fully edentulous jaws with severe bone loss, fixed prostheses supported by a titanium bar on angled implants may also be among the options.

After tooth loss, the bone gradually resorbs – particularly in the back of the upper jaw – and there may not be enough volume left to anchor an implant. The graft material is most often bovine-derived or synthetic bone; in some complex cases the patient’s own bone is preferred. Where bone loss is minor, the graft can be placed in the same session as the implant. The fee varies with the amount of bone needed, the graft material and the complexity of the sinus procedure, and is explained to you before the procedure.

Esnan works in an official clinical partnership with Straumann and with Medentika, one of the group’s brands. The implant recommended for you depends on your bone structure, oral health, medical history and your dentist’s assessment. The brand and model of the recommended implant should be stated clearly in your written quotation.

Straumann Group is a company that owns several implant brands. Straumann-branded implants and Medentika, another of the group’s brands, are different product lines at different price levels; the phrase “Straumann Group implant” on its own therefore does not mean a Straumann-branded implant. Your quotation should state the brand and model clearly. The implant passport you receive after treatment also records the brand, model and lot number of your implant.

Every patient receives an International Implant Passport. The passport records the implant’s brand, model, diameter, length, lot (serial) number and surface characteristics, and your pre- and post-operative digital CT images are also given to you. The lot number allows the product to be matched against the manufacturer’s records and ensures the correct replacement parts can be found in future.

Yes. You can share the brand, model and serial number in your implant passport with your local dentist; this information ensures that parts such as screws or abutments can be sourced from the correct product in future. The Straumann Group products used by Esnan are widely available internationally. With your consent, your treatment records and images can be sent to your dentist at home.

Stage 04 / 08

All-on-4, All-on-6 and full-arch treatments

Full-arch solutions and same-day teeth.

8 questions

In All-on-4, four implants are placed in one jaw; the two rear implants are angled at up to 45 degrees, so a graft is often not needed even when bone is limited. With the All-on-6 technique, the fixed bridge is supported by six titanium implants; chewing forces are spread over a wider area, and higher bone density is required. Six implants are usually recommended for people who clench or grind their teeth. Which technique suits you, and the choice between the two, is decided after the examination and digital planning. With either technique, swelling or bruising of the face and jaw may appear in the first days after surgery; this usually subsides noticeably within a week.

Single-arch treatment covers only the upper or the lower jaw, while full-mouth treatment covers both jaws together. Full-mouth treatment is most often carried out with All-on-6 in both jaws – that is, with 12 implants in total. Your quotation states which jaw the treatment covers and the number of implants for each jaw separately.

No. If several adjacent teeth are missing, a bridge can be placed on two or more implants; in a jaw with no teeth at all, four, six or eight implants can support the entire row of teeth. The number of implants is planned on the CT scan according to the amount of bone, biting force and the design of the prosthesis. The number of teeth placed on the implants is decided in the prosthetic plan.

“Same-day teeth” means that a temporary fixed bridge is fitted to the implants on the day of surgery. In All-on-4 and All-on-6 treatment, depending on the case, a temporary, functional bridge can often be fitted on the day of surgery. The permanent prosthesis is fitted after a bone-fusion (osseointegration) period of about 3 to 6 months. Same-day teeth depend on the implants achieving sufficient stability during surgery; if stability is insufficient, a staged approach is followed and healing is allowed to take place first.

The temporary bridge provides appearance and chewing function during the healing period, when you will need to eat soft foods. Once bone fusion is complete, the permanent bridge is made from more durable and aesthetic materials such as highly translucent zirconia or E-max porcelain, and, depending on how it is looked after, usually lasts 10 to 15 years or longer. A temporary prosthesis should be used for no more than 12 months; beyond that, the implants are no longer covered by the guarantee.

A fixed implant-supported prosthesis (hybrid prosthesis) is screwed to the implants and can only be removed by a dentist; it does not move when you speak or eat. Because it includes a gum-coloured base, it restores a natural appearance in patients who have lost bone and gum tissue. It is usually made on four to six implants, and cleaning it at home requires a water flosser and special brushes. Your dentist will explain which option is recommended and why, based on your bone condition and expectations.

Treatment is usually completed in two visits. At the first visit you have the examination, CT scan and implant surgery, and in most cases a temporary bridge is fitted; this visit lasts about a week. After 3 to 6 months of healing, at the second visit the permanent prosthesis is measured, tried in and fitted; this visit usually takes 2 to 5 days. Suitability, the choice of technique and the resulting visit plan are confirmed after the examination and digital planning.

Healing is monitored closely at your check-ups. If an implant does not reach the expected stability, your dentist may switch to a staged protocol; in that case, the date of your permanent prosthesis may be postponed and an additional visit may be needed. With All-on-6, if one implant causes a problem, the remaining implants can temporarily support the bridge; with All-on-4, immediate intervention is needed. As the temporary prosthesis must be replaced with the permanent one within 12 months, your schedule is re-planned accordingly.

Stage 05 / 08

Prices, package contents and payment

What is included, and what may cost extra?

8 questions

Esnan does not offer the same ready-made package to everyone; your implant treatment quotation is prepared specifically for you based on your examination and imaging results. The quotation usually covers the examination, digital X-rays and 3D CT scan, implant surgery, the abutment (the connecting part between the implant and the crown), a custom-made crown and check-ups during your stay in Istanbul. Airport transfers and transport between the clinic and your hotel are also included. The implant, abutment and crown are shown as separate items in your quotation; additional procedures such as a bone graft are added as separate items if needed. When comparing implant prices in Türkiye, looking at the implant brand, the material of the restoration and the scope of the guarantee – not just the total figure – gives a more accurate comparison.

What the full-arch package covers is listed item by item in your written treatment plan. In many All-on-4 and All-on-6 cases, a temporary fixed bridge is fitted on the day of surgery, and the permanent prosthesis is made at a second visit 3 to 6 months later. Check in your quotation whether extractions, the temporary bridge and the permanent prosthesis are included in the package.

The main procedures that may incur additional costs during treatment are bone grafting, sinus lifts and sedation or general anaesthesia. The cost of graft and sinus procedures varies with the amount of bone needed, the type of graft material and the complexity of the procedure. If a new need emerges at the examination or on the CT scan, the procedure and its cost are explained to you; nothing is carried out without your consent.

A preliminary quotation based on photos and two-dimensional X-rays is a starting point. The plan and price are confirmed after the in-person examination and imaging in Istanbul (including CBCT where needed). The quotation may change because of findings such as less bone than expected, an active infection, gum disease or a fractured root that was not visible. Under our patient rights policy, you have the right to know the cost of treatment before it is carried out and to refuse a proposed treatment; a new procedure is only performed once it has been explained to you and you have given your consent.

Yes, you can ask for options for the same treatment with different implant brands or prosthetic materials. For the comparison to be meaningful, each quotation should state the implant brand and model, the prosthetic material and the items included in the same way.

The currency of payment, the accepted payment methods and the stages at which payment is made are set out in your written quotation. You receive an invoice for your payment at the end of treatment. Ask your patient coordinator about conditions such as exchange-rate differences and any fee that may apply to card payments before you pay.

If you wish to cancel or postpone your appointment, let your patient coordinator know as early as possible. Esnan does not take a deposit to book an appointment; payment is made during the treatment process. The conditions relating to payments already made are set out in writing in your quotation and payment documents.

Depending on the package you approve, Esnan can arrange your airport transfers and accommodation in selected hotels; the implant package includes airport transfers and transport between the clinic and your hotel. Whether accommodation, medication and travel costs for the second visit are included is listed item by item in your quotation. Flights are paid for by the patient.

Stage 06 / 08

Laboratory, prosthetic materials and aesthetics

Where and how your teeth are made.

8 questions

Your teeth are made in Esnan’s own laboratory, Esnan Digital Lab. The laboratory is in the same building as Esnan’s Skyland Istanbul clinic and is responsible for digital design, production planning, quality control and coordination between dentist and technician. Production uses 3D scanning and CAD/CAM technology, and every piece is checked under magnification for marginal fit before delivery.

Amann Girrbach is an Austrian company that makes CAD/CAM systems and materials such as zirconia used to produce dental prostheses. Esnan is the company’s first Diamond Partner clinic and laboratory. This means your prostheses are designed and made using Amann Girrbach’s digital workflow and certified materials; zirconia crowns are milled from Amann Girrbach’s medical-grade zirconium dioxide blocks.

The material is chosen according to the position of the tooth in the mouth, the biting forces, whether you clench your teeth and your aesthetic expectations. Zirconia offers better tissue compatibility than porcelain fused to metal and does not create a dark metal line at the gum margin. Monolithic (single-piece) zirconia is usually preferred for back teeth and for people who clench, while layered zirconia or E-max porcelain is preferred for front teeth for a more natural translucency. The flexural strength of E-max is about 500 MPa, while that of zirconia exceeds 1,000 MPa. Because of its high strength, zirconia is often chosen for back teeth and implant-supported bridges, while E-max (lithium disilicate) can give front teeth a more natural appearance thanks to its translucency. Porcelain fused to metal is a long-established, economical option.

“Zirconia teeth” can describe two different structures. In layered zirconia, porcelain is added on top of a zirconia framework; it looks more natural, but the porcelain layer can chip. Monolithic zirconia is made from a single block; it is stronger and requires less tooth reduction, but is slightly more opaque. Your quotation should state clearly which structure will be used on which teeth. For example, monolithic zirconia is made from a single piece of zirconium and carries a low risk of porcelain chipping, whereas crowns with porcelain layered over a zirconia framework offer more layered aesthetics. Problems with zirconia crowns usually stem from fit and bite adjustment rather than from the material itself.

Intraoral scanners create a digital model of your mouth. This data is used to design restorations that fit your bite. Digital technology comes into play at several stages of treatment: intraoral 3D scanning and CT for planning, digital smile design for the aesthetic design, and computer-aided design and milling in the laboratory for production. Which steps are used depends on your treatment.

Yes. With digital smile design, the proposed tooth shape, length and shade are shown on your face; you can see the design and request changes before any work is done on your teeth. The shade is chosen with standard shade guides, taking your skin tone and facial features into account. Before the permanent teeth are bonded, they are placed with a temporary try-in paste so that you can check their shade and appearance in daylight. Shades are selected from a dental shade guide: B1 is the lightest natural shade on the guide, A1 and A2 are close to most people’s natural tooth colour, and A3 is a warmer, darker shade. B1 can look too white on some faces, so the shade is chosen together with you to suit your skin tone and age. If your natural teeth are staying, teeth whitening before shade selection may also be considered.

Permanent teeth are tried in before they are bonded; shade, marginal fit, contact points and bite are checked at this stage. If there is a problem, it is corrected before bonding, and after bonding your dentist fine-tunes your bite.

Permanent crowns, bridges, veneers and permanent implant-supported prostheses are covered by Esnan’s five-year guarantee; as long as you follow the guarantee conditions, the cost of any treatment needed during this period is covered by Esnan. Fractures caused by hard foods, accidents, sports injuries or – if you clench your teeth – not wearing your night guard are not covered. Your digital impressions and design records are stored digitally; our team can tell you how long they are kept.

Stage 07 / 08

Travel, treatment day and aftercare

Your stay in Istanbul, the day of your procedure and recovery.

8 questions

The length of stay depends on your treatment. Implant treatment usually requires two visits: the first, for implant surgery, takes about 3 to 7 days, and the second, for the permanent teeth after 3 to 6 months of healing, takes about 5 to 10 days. For a bone graft or sinus lift, the stay is usually 3 to 5 days. If adjustments are needed at the try-in, your stay may be extended by a few days; your exact schedule is confirmed after your initial assessment.

Before surgery your dentist goes through the plan and your CT scan with you one last time and obtains your consent. The procedure is usually carried out under local anaesthesia in sterile operating rooms. Afterwards, a gauze pad is placed to help a blood clot form, you are given aftercare instructions, and most patients return to their hotel the same day.

Yes. Depending on your level of anxiety, the extent of the procedure and your general health, local anaesthesia, intravenous sedation or general anaesthesia can be used. General anaesthesia is given in dedicated operating rooms under the supervision of an anaesthesiologist, with your vital signs continuously monitored. Esnan’s implant surgery team includes two anaesthesiologists and four anaesthesia technicians, and procedures requiring anaesthesia are planned together with this team.

Your dentist decides on your return date at your post-operative check-up. After minor surgical procedures, flying is usually possible within 24 to 48 hours. Stitches are removed and a check-up is carried out 7 to 10 days after surgery, or this is scheduled before you return home.

Yes. After surgery you are given personalised aftercare instructions on eating, oral hygiene and medication. Lukewarm, soft foods are recommended for the first few days; you will need to eat liquid and very soft foods for 3 to 5 days after a single implant and for 2 to 3 weeks after full-arch treatment. Warm salt-water rinses start 24 hours after surgery, and straws should not be used for the first 7 to 10 days. After All-on-6 treatment you are also given a personalised hygiene kit. A water flosser is recommended for cleaning under implant-supported bridges: starting on a low setting and aiming the tip at the gum line, a few seconds around each implant is enough. If you clench or grind your teeth at night, a night guard may also be recommended to protect your prosthesis.

Mild to moderate pain, swelling and slight bleeding mixed with saliva are normal for the first three days. Contact us without delay if you have: severe pain that increases after the third day, bleeding that does not stop when pressed with gauze, a high temperature, pus from the gum, or numbness of the lip, tongue or jaw that continues after the anaesthetic has worn off. For emergencies, our 24/7 WhatsApp line is +44 7476 937626 and our call centre is 444 1 657 (from within Türkiye). In the first 2–3 days after an extraction or implant, mild pain, swelling and oozing are expected; cold compresses and the recommended painkillers are usually enough. If you notice pain that increases after the third day, a bad smell, a fever or a pimple-like, inflamed swelling on the gum, you should contact the clinic.

After you return home, your check-ups continue through remote follow-up at set intervals; you can send your photos and X-rays and speak with your dentist. Your implant passport and treatment records give your dentist at home the information they need about your treatment. To keep the guarantee valid, an examination and check-up are required at least once a year; agree with your coordinator where this check-up will take place. If you live in the UK, you can have your check-ups and aftercare support at Esnan’s aftercare clinic in the UK.

Yes. At the end of your treatment you receive your implant passport (brand, model, size and lot number) together with your pre- and post-operative digital CT images. You can obtain a copy of your medical records by written request. You can share these documents with your own dentist; your coordinator can tell you in which format the prosthesis specifications and treatment report will be provided.

Stage 08 / 08

Guarantee, complications and patient support

Who to contact, and how, if something goes wrong.

8 questions

In that situation, your dentist first assesses the cause of the problem through a clinical examination and imaging. Problems that arise after the permanent prosthesis has been fitted are assessed under the five-year guarantee, provided the guarantee conditions have been met, and the cost of the treatment needed is covered by Esnan. Smoking, uncontrolled systemic conditions, poor oral hygiene or missed annual check-ups affect the guarantee. Flights, accommodation and transfer costs are not covered by the guarantee.

Esnan’s five-year guarantee covers permanent crowns, bridges, veneers and permanent implant-supported prostheses, and is set out in a guarantee certificate issued to you personally. Temporary prostheses, bone grafts and sinus procedures, teeth whitening, root canal treatment, accidents and sports injuries, fractures caused by hard foods, and smoking are excluded. Implants used with a temporary prosthesis for more than 12 months are also not covered. All the conditions are set out in Esnan’s guarantee certificate.

The manufacturer’s warranty covers the implant itself – that is, a defect in the product. Esnan’s five-year guarantee, on the other hand, covers the cost of treatment needed during this period, provided the conditions are met. International manufacturer support is available for Straumann Group and Medentika products. Which guarantee a given cost falls under is decided case by case; travel, accommodation and transfer costs are not included in Esnan’s guarantee.

To keep the guarantee valid, you need to have an examination and check-up at least once a year, look after your oral hygiene and follow your dentist’s instructions. If you clench your teeth, you should wear your night guard regularly, and removable prostheses should be relined every 3 to 4 years. Keeping systemic conditions such as diabetes or osteoporosis under control and avoiding rapid, excessive weight gain or loss are also among the conditions. Confirm in your guarantee certificate and with your coordinator whether you can have the annual check-up in your own country.

The guarantee covers treatment costs; flights, accommodation in Istanbul and all transfer costs are paid by the patient. This condition is stated clearly in Esnan’s guarantee certificate. If you need to come to Istanbul for treatment under the guarantee, you can plan the dates of your visit together with your patient coordinator.

First, if possible, contact us on our 24/7 WhatsApp line (+44 7476 937626) and describe the situation with photos; our team will assess how urgent it is and advise you. If you have severe pain, bleeding or an infection, see a local dentist without waiting and take your implant passport with you. Damage caused by procedures carried out outside Esnan is not covered by the guarantee; if possible, talk to us in advance about how the cost of a procedure at another clinic will be treated. Patients in the UK can receive assessment and stabilisation from NHS dental services for problems related to treatment abroad.

If your prosthesis comes loose, or you have a screw problem, a fracture or a gum problem, message our 24/7 WhatsApp support line (+44 7476 937626) or call 444 1 657 (from within Türkiye), and send photos if you can. Our team assesses how urgent the problem is and decides with you whether it will be resolved through remote follow-up, with a dentist in your country or in Istanbul. In the meantime, it is important not to put strain on a loose prosthesis with hard foods. A crown or bridge that moves is most often caused by a loose screw and can usually be fixed with a short procedure; even so, it is important to let us know straight away so it can be checked before the problem gets worse.

You can send complaints, suggestions and requests for a second opinion to Esnan’s Patient Rights Unit. You can submit your request in person at the clinic, through our call centre on 444 1 657, by email to esnan@esnan.com.tr, via the online form on the website or by written letter. Requests are recorded, reviewed together with the relevant department managers and senior management, and the outcome is communicated to you as soon as possible. You can also ask for the opinion of another specialist on your diagnosis and treatment plan.
